I got this book in the mail yesterday, and I've been flipping through it, trying to get a better understanding of the diet. :) By the way, the book came fast (approx. 4-5 days) and it was free. So, I couldn't pass it up. Free? Hello, if it's free, it's for me.
Anyways, this diet is all about increasing the amount of fiber in your diet. There are 3 stages:
- Stage One: Eat more fiber, drink at least 6 glasses of water a day, adn stop eating when you are no longer hungry.
- Stage Two: Increase fiber in your diet to new levels, eat fiber at the beginning and end of each meal, experiment with a wider variety of fiber foods, and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.
- Stage Three: Stabilize fiber to 40+ grams a day, become a label detective, reduce your meat, dairy, and foods that are high calorie content, high fat, and low fiber.
